본 발명은 트렁크 자동 개방 제어 장치에 관한 것으로, 차량 후방에 위치한 물체를 검출하는 후방 물체 검출부; LF 안테나를 통해 인증 요청 신호를 송신한 후 응답 인증 신호를 수신하는 통신부; 스마트키의 위치를 검출할 수 있도록 상기 통신부를 통해 RF 응답 인증 신호를 수신하여 스마트키가 차량 주위에 위치하고 있음을 1차로 검출하고, 이후, 스마트키가 트렁크의 기설정된 범위 내에 위치하고 있음을 검출할 수 있도록, 상기 통신부의 검색 범위를 제한한 상태에서 스마트키를 검색하도록 통신부의 출력 값을 제한하는 스마트키 검출부; 출력 값이 낮아진 통신부를 통해 검출된 스마트키가 기설정된 시간 이상 트렁크의 인접 범위에 위치하는지를 판단하는 스마트키 위치 판단부; 상기 후방 물체 검출부를 통해 차량 후방에 존재하는 물체의 기준인식 값을 검출하는 물체 인식부; 및 상기 물체 인식부를 통해 산출된 물체의 기준인식 값과 물체의 인식 값을 비교하여 차이가 발생하면 스마트키를 구비한 운전자가 트렁크에 위치하는 것으로 판단하여 트렁크를 개방하는 트렁크 개방 결정부;를 포함한다.

    The present invention relates to an automatic trunk opening control device and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the automatic trunk opening control device comprises: a rear object detection unit which detects an object placed on a rear side of a vehicle; a communication unit which transmits an authentication request signal through an LF antenna, and receives a response authentication signal; a smart key detection unit which receives an RF response authentication signal through the communication unit to be able to detect the position of the smart key, primarily detects that the smart key is placed around the vehicle, and limits an output value of the communication unit to search the smart key with the search range of the communication unit limited to be able to detect that the smart key is located within a preset range of the trunk afterwards; a smart key position determination unit which determines whether the smart key detected through the communication unit with a lower output value is located in an adjacent range of the trunk for the preset time or longer; an object recognition unit which detects a reference recognition value of the object existing on a rear side of the vehicle through the rear object detection unit; and a trunk opening determination unit which compares the reference recognition value of the object calculated by the object recognition unit and the recognition value of the object, and if there occurs a difference, determines that the driver possessing the smart key is located at the trunk, and opens the trunk. The present invention aims to provide the automatic trunk opening control device and the method thereof, which are able to precisely recognize whether the driver is located at the trunk and to automatically open the trunk.
