The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling an ammonia fuel cell vehicle and a method thereof which store ammonia in an ammonia tank, decompose the ammonia stored in the ammonia tank into hydrogen, control at least one of an ammonia supply amount supplied to a cracker and a condition of the cracker, calculate an expectation hydrogen consumption amount based on at least one of driving information and battery information, and control at least one of the ammonia supply amount and the condition of the cracker based on the calculated expectation hydrogen consumption amount.

    본 개시는 암모니아 연료전지 차량 제어 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 암모니아를 암모니아 탱크에 저장하고, 상기 암모니아 탱크에 저장된 상기 암모니아를 수소로 분해하고, 크래커로 공급되는 암모니아 공급량과 상기 크래커의 조건 중 적어도 하나를 제어하고, 주행 정보와 배터리 정보 중 적어도 하나를 기초로 예상 수소 소모량을 계산하고, 계산된 상기 예상 수소 소모량을 기초로 상기 암모니아 공급량 및 상기 크래커의 조건 중 적어도 하나를 제어하는 것을 그 요지로 한다.
