The present invention relates to a system for searching for an optimal parking position and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the system for searching for an optimal parking position comprises: a passenger identification part for acquiring passenger information; a parking space identification part for identifying a parking potential space; a parking position selecting part for selecting a parking position among parking potential spaces by using passenger information; and a control part for providing a parking guide of selected parking position or performing automatic parking through an automatic parking system integration.

    본 발명은 최적 주차위치 탐색 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 최적 주차위치 탐색 시스템은 탑승자 정보를 획득하는 탑승객 인지부와, 주차 후보 공간을 인지하는 주차 공간 인지부와, 탑승자 정보를 이용하여 주차 후보 공간 중 주차 위치를 선정하는 주차 위치 선정부 및 선정된 주차 위치로의 주차 가이드를 제공하거나 자동 주차 시스템 연계를 통해 자동 주차를 수행하는 제어부를 포함한다.
