본 발명은 자동차용 윈도우글래스 명암조절장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서 글래스(16,30)에는 중심글래스층(32)이 있고, 상기 중심글래스층(32)의 양측 표면에 자외선반사층(38)이 있다. 상기 자외선반사층(38)의 사이에는 변색층(36)이 있다. 상기 변색층(36)은 광원(50)에서 나오는 빛에 의해 색상의 농담이 변하게 된다. 상기 글래스(16)는 자동차의 도어(14)에서 사용되고, 상기 광원(50)은 상기 글래스(16) 가장자리 내측이나 도어(14)의 윈도우프레임(20)내에 위치될 수 있다. 이와 같은 본 발명에 의하면 자동차의 윈도우글래스의 명암을 사용자가 원하는 대로 또는 자동차의 외부 조도에 따라 달리하여 외부로부터 차실내로 빛이 전달되는 것을 조절할 수 있다.

    The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling brightness of a window glass for a vehicle. In the present invention, a glass (16, 30) has a central glass layer (32) and ultraviolet reflection layers (38) on both surfaces of the central glass layer (32). A discoloration layer (36) is provided between the ultraviolet reflection layers (38). The discoloration layer (36) changes the shade of the color due to the light emitted from a light source (50). The glass (16) can be used for a door (14) of a vehicle and the light source (50) can be positioned inside the edge of the glass (16) or in a window frame (20) of the door (14). According to the present invention, the brightness of the window glass of a vehicle can be adjusted according to the user′s desire or external illuminance of the vehicle, thereby controlling the transmission of light from the outside into the vehicle.
