본 발명은 선회 주행 시에 차량의 롤오버 현상을 방지하여 주행 안정성을 확보하기 위한 차량의 롤오버 방지 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 운전석이 구비된 전방 차체부와 운전석이 비구비된 후방 차체부의 좌우 양측에 각각 횡가속도 센서를 설치하고 상기 횡가속도 센서의 신호를 기초로 선회 주행 시 차량의 롤오버 발생을 예측하며, 상기 롤오버의 발생이 예측될 때 상기 전방 차체부와 후방 차체부 사이에 연결 구성된 굴절마디 메커니즘(굴절 커넥터)의 굴절각도를 증가시켜 차량 롤오버 방향의 반대방향으로 차체 지지력을 발생시킴으로써 주행중인 차량의 롤오버 발생을 방지하는 차량의 롤오버 방지 시스템 및 방법을 제공하는데 목적이 있다.
The present invention relates to a system and a method for preventing rollover of a vehicle, which ensure travel stability by preventing the rollover of the vehicle during turning. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a system and a method for preventing rollover of a vehicle, which have lateral acceleration sensors respectively installed on both left and right sides of a front vehicle body part having a driving seat and a rear vehicle body part having no driving seat, predict an occurrence of rollover of a vehicle during turning on the basis of signals from the lateral acceleration sensors, and increase the angle of refraction of a refractive node mechanism (refractive connector) connected between the front vehicle body part and the rear vehicle body part when the occurrence of the rollover is predicted, so as to generate a vehicle body support force in the direction opposite to the direction of the rollover of the vehicle, thereby preventing the rollover of the vehicle traveling.
