본 발명은 자동차 외부의 외기 및 자동차 실내의 내기를 선택적으로 유입하여 선택된 해당 온도로 상기 외기 및 내기를 히팅 또는 냉각하여 자동차 실내로 급기하는 공조유닛 및 상기 공조유닛의 일측에 구비되어, 상기 공조유닛으로 선택된 해당 송풍량으로 외기 및 내기를 송풍하는 송풍유닛을 포함하는데, 상기 송풍유닛은 자동차 실내와 엔진룸으로 구획하는 대시패널을 기준으로 상기 공조유닛의 전방인 엔진룸 내부에 돌출 배치함에 따라 인테이크(intake)에서 유입된 외기와, 실내에서 유입된 내기의 정압손실을 최소화하여 실내로 토출하는 것이 종래의 세미센터 타입 공조장치보다 유리하고, 조수석 측에 배치되었던 별도의 송풍유닛이 제거되어 조수석의 공간 활용성이 높아지는 전기자동차용 공조장치를 제공한다.

    The present invention relates to an air conditioner for an electric vehicle, which comprises: an air conditioning unit configured to selectively introduce outdoor air of the outside of the vehicle and indoor air of the inside of the vehicle to supply air to the inside of the vehicle by heating or cooling the outdoor air and the indoor air at a selected corresponding temperature; and an air blowing unit disposed on one side of the air conditioning unit to send the outdoor air and the indoor air to the air conditioning unit at a selected corresponding air blowing amount. The air blowing unit protrudes from the inside of an engine room in the front of the air conditioning unit based on a dash panel that divides the inside of the vehicle from the engine room to minimize a static pressure loss of the outdoor air introduced from an intake and the indoor air introduced from the inside. Accordingly, the air conditioner is advantageous to discharge the air to the inside compared to an existing semi-center type air conditioner. Moreover, an additional air blowing unit arranged on a passenger seat can be removed to increase space utilization of the passenger seat.
