The present invention relates to a beacon installed on a coast or at sea to indicate a sea route and more specifically, relates to the beacon equipped with an illuminance sensor of a digital method that replaces an illuminance sensor (light quantity sensor) of an existing analog method that detects a surrounding light quantity with an illuminance sensor of a digital method in order to control a turning-on and turning-off of the beacon, and reduces a measurement error due to a temperature change of a surrounding environment and reduces a time and cost required to replace and correct the beacon due to a malfunction of the illuminance sensor by being easy to replace even in an event of the malfunction of the illuminance sensor. The beacon comprises: a lower part lighting body; an upper part lighting body; an LED module; a digital illuminance sensor; a control module; a spare digital illuminance sensor; and a storage part.

    본 발명은 해안이나 해상에 설치되어 항로 표지를 위한 등명기에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는, 등명기의 점등 및 소등을 제어하기 위해 주변 광량을 감지하는 기존 아날로그 방식의 조도센서(광량센서)를 디지털 방식의 조도센서로 대체하여 주변 환경의 온도 변화에 따른 측정 오차를 줄이는 한편, 조도센서의 고장시에도 교체가 용이하여 조도센서의 고장으로 인한 등명기의 교체 및 교정에 소요되는 시간과 비용을 줄일 수 있는 디지털 방식의 조도센서를 구비한 등명기에 관한 것이다.
