The present invention relates to a forging processing method of a lock screw used in a vehicle steering device, and more specifically to the forging processing method of a lock screw for vehicle steering devices in which a groove part formed in a ring shape along the inner circumferential surface of a body of the lock screw, and a slot part that communicates with the groove part and is discontinuously formed in the body are formed by a single hot forging step, especially by a blocking step so that burrs are prevented from being generated between the groove part and the slot part, and the groove part is remolded to precise dimensions through a cold forging step, thereby reducing a cutting process, production time, and costs.
본 발명은 차량의 조향장치에 사용되는 락스크류의 단조가공방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 락스크류의 몸체 내부 원주면을 따라 링 형상으로 형성된 홈부와, 상기 홈부와 연통되며 몸체에 비연속적으로 형성된 슬롯부를 한 번의 열간단조단계 특히 블록킹단계에 의해 형성함으로써, 홈부와 슬롯부 사이에 버가 생기는 것을 방지하며, 상기 홈부는 냉간단조단계에 의해 정밀한 치수로 재성형하여 절삭가공에 의한 공정을 줄여서 생산시간과 비용을 절감할 수 있는 차량의 조향장치용 락스크류의 단조가공방법이다.
