The present invention relates to a method of determining a regenerative braking amount during emergency braking of an electric vehicle for maintaining a regenerative braking amount while driving as much as possible by adjusting the regenerative braking level and reduction slope of an electric motor according to the amount and cause of emergency braking during automatic emergency braking control, thereby increasing electric energy consumption efficiency. The method receives a regenerative braking amount control signal, vehicle speed information, and operation signal information for an accelerator pedal and brake pedal through a paddle switch from a vehicle control unit that controls regenerative braking, identifies the cause of emergency braking if the accelerator pedal is in an off state and the brake pedal is in an off state while the vehicle is driving, differentially sets the regenerative braking level according to the identified cause of emergency braking, calculates a regenerative braking amount according to the set regenerative braking level, and controls a motor control unit according to the calculated regenerative braking amount, thereby improving the fuel efficiency of an electric vehicle.

    자동 긴급 제동제어 시 긴급제동량 및 발생원인에 따라 전기 모터의 회생제동레벨 및 감소 기울기를 조절하여 주행 중 회생제동량을 최대한 유지함으로써 전기 에너지 소비효율을 증대시키도록 한 전기 자동차의 긴급제동 시 회생제동량 결정방법에 관한 것으로서, 회생제동을 제어하는 차량 제어 유닛에서 패들 스위치를 통한 회생제동량 조절신호와 차량 속도 정보, 엑셀 페달 및 브레이크 페달의 조작 신호 정보를 입력받고, 차량이 주행 중인 상태에서 엑셀 페달이 오프 상태이고, 브레이크 페달이 오프 상태이면, 긴급 제동 발생 원인을 확인하여, 확인한 긴급 제동 발생 원인에 따라 회생제동 레벨을 차등적으로 설정하고, 설정한 회생제동 레벨에 따라 회생제동량을 계산하여, 계산한 회생제동량에 따라 모터 제어 유닛을 제어하여, 전기 자동차의 전비 향상을 도모한다.
