본 발명의 배터리 관리 장치는 배터리의 전압을 검출하는 전압 검출부와 차량의 시동 온/오프 신호 및 상기 배터리의 충전 상태 정보(State of Charge:SoC)를 입력 받는 입력부 및차량의 시동이 오프(Off)된 상태에서 미리 설정된 임계시간 초과된 이후 시동이 온(On)되면, 검출된 배터리의 전압과 상기 배터리의 충전 상태 정보를 기초로 배터리의 방전 심도(Depth of Discharge:DoD)를 산출하는 제어부를 포함한다.
A battery management apparatus of the present invention comprises: a voltage detection unit for detecting a voltage of a battery; an input unit for receiving a starting on/off signal of a vehicle and a state of charge (SoC) of the battery; and a controller for calculating a depth of discharge (DoD) of the battery on the basis of the detected battery voltage and the state of charge information of the battery when the starting is turned on after a predetermined threshold time passes in a state that the starting of the vehicle is off. The battery durability degradation can be prevented in advance.
