본 발명은 최선단 열차와 하나 이상의 후단 열차 및 최후단 열차가 순차적으로 직렬로 연결되어 구성되고 서로간에 광케이블로 연결되어 운행되는 일련의 복수의 열차를 관리하는 열차 위치 및 궤도 이탈 탐지 시스템을 개시한다. 상기 열차 위치 및 궤도 이탈 탐지 시스템은 최선단 열차에서 직렬로 연결된 후단 열차들로 주기적으로 광신호를 전송하고, 후단 열차들로부터 되돌아오는 광신호를 수신하여 열차의 분리나 교체를 감지할 수 있으므로 열차의 사고 예측, 운행 정보를 효과적으로 관리할 수 있다

    Disclosed is a train position and track deviation detection system for controlling a series of a plurality of trains, wherein a foremost train and one or more rear trains and a rearmost train are sequentially connected in series and connected to each other by optical cables to be operated. According to the train position and track deviation detection system, the foremost train periodically transmits an optical signal to the rear trains that are serially connected thereto and receives the optical signal returning from the rear trains to detect separation or replacement of trains, and accordingly, accident prediction or operation information of the trains may be effectively controlled.
