Traditionally, skilled divers put a device on the seafloor to take photographs, at a specific depth, of seafloor areas where marine forest facilities are installed, and then retrieve filming equipment to check the photographs on the sea, and thus it has been challenging to conduct long-term observations or underwater shooting in underwater environments deeper than the depth at which divers can dive. In order to solve such existing problems, provided is an artificial fish-breeding ground and seaweed bed/sea forest monitoring device which is installed in artificial fish-breeding grounds and seaweed bed/sea forest regions to be monitored and thus which is capable of collecting, in real time, information about changes in biota and changes in the regions to be monitored during a set period. Therefore, after an artificial fish-breeding complex or a marine forest site is constructed, post-monitoring is possible, allowing for more efficient monitoring of fishing grounds. To this end, the present device comprises a camera housing, an underwater light, and a system frame.

    해중림 시설물이 설치된 해저지역은 기존에는 숙련된 다이버가 해저에 장치를 투입하여 특정 수심에서 촬영한 후 촬영 장비를 건져 올려 해상에서 확인하는 방법으로 실시되어, 다이버가 잠수가능한 수심 이상의 수중환경에서는 장기간 관측이나 수중촬영이 어려웠다. 이와 같은 기존의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 모니터링하고자 하는 인공어초 어장 및 해조장 바다숲 해역에 설치되어 설정된 기간동안 생물상의 변화 및 모니터링 해역 변화 정보를 실시간으로 수집할 수 있는 인공어초 어장 및 해조장 바다숲 모니터링 장치를 제공함으로써, 인공어초단지나 해중림 조성지의 조성 후 사후 모니터링이 가능하여 보다 효율적인 어장의 모니터링이 가능한 효과가 있다.
