The present invention relates to a system and a method for checking and managing a solar power generation facility based on a drone, which is able to analyze image data photographed by the drone, and allow a renewable energy power generation facility to be checked and managed for the history with a high precision and a high efficiency. According to the present invention, the system for checking and managing the solar power generation facility based on a drone comprises: a solar power generation facility management drone controlling the facility checking flight and photographing, and photographing a power generation facility video to acquire optical and thermal images, and processing and transmitting the photographed video; a solar power generation facility checking management server managing the solar power generation facility management drone, and making a DB of the acquired video, and converting the acquire video into a 3D model, and managing the check history in accordance with a defect analysis; and a manager terminal inputting and deleting video data for the solar power generation facility checking management, and selecting a part for 3D model management, and simultaneously providing a normal image and a hot spot stressing image, and analyzing defects, and providing a 3D model screen, and preparing a markup report, and supporting the provision of a statistical graph.
