본 발명은 냉각판을 배터리모듈과 직접 접촉시켜 균일한 냉각이 이루어지도록 함으로써 냉각 효율을 향상시킴과 동시에, 수냉식으로서 외부 공기를 이용함에 따른 방진관리와 내부의 분진 오염 문제를 해소할 수 있으며, 냉각판의 구조와 배터리모듈 및 하우징과의 결합구조를 최적화하여 구성을 간소화함으로써 배터리팩의 전체 사이즈가 커지는 것을 방지하고, 냉각기능의 구동을 위한 전원을 사용하지 않아 배터리의 소모량을 줄여 사용효율을 더욱 높일 수 있는 전기자동차용 배터리팩을 제공한다. 본 발명의 전기자동차용 배터리팩은, 다수개의 배터리셀을 적층하여 양측면에서 고정플레이트로 고정하여 이루어진 배터리모듈과, 배터리모듈을 내부에 수용하기 위한 하우징과, 하우징과 배터리모듈 사이에 위치하여 배터리모듈의 적층된 배터리셀과 일측면이 접촉하도록 배치되고 차량의 냉각수가 내부통로로 유입되는 입구와 배출되는 출구를 구비하여 내부통로로 흐르는 냉각수에 의해 배터리모듈의 열을 낮추도록 된 냉각판을 포함하여 이루어진 것이다.

    The present invention provides an electric car battery pack wherein: a cooling plate directly contacts a battery module such that uniform cooling occurs, thereby improving the cooling performance; water cooling is adopted such that anti-dust management and internal dust pollution problems, which would occur if external air is used, can be minimized; the structure of the cooling plate and the structure of coupling between the battery module and the housing are optimized such that, by simplifying the configuration, the overall size of the battery pack is prevented from increasing; and no power supply is used to drive the cooling function such that, by reducing the amount of battery consumption, use efficiency can be further improved. An electric car battery pack according to the present invention comprises: a battery module comprising multiple battery cells stacked and fixed by fixing plates from both side surfaces thereof; a housing for containing the battery module therein; and a cooling plate positioned between the housing and the battery module such that one side surface thereof contacts the stacked battery cells of the battery module, the cooling plate having an inlet and an outlet through which vehicle cooling water flows into and out of an internal channel, respectively, such that heat is removed from the battery module by the cooling water flowing through the inner channel.
