K-NN 알고리즘을 이용한 교통 사고 위험을 예측하는 위험 예측 시스템은 기존 교통 정보 데이터와 실시간으로 수집된 현재 교통 정보 데이터의 유사도를 비교하는 K-최근접 이웃(K-Nearest Neighbor) 알고리즘을 이용하여 추후 발생될 교통사고의 위험을 예측할 수 있다. 본 발명은 현재의 교통 정보 데이터를 입력하였을 때 입력한 교통 정보 데이터와 과거의 케이스를 찾아내어 현재의 교통사고 위험을 예측할 수 있어 실시간으로 교통사고의 위험 지역을 파악하며, 미연에 교통사고를 방지할 수 있는 효과가 있다.

    A risk predicting system for predicting traffic accident risk by using a K-NN algorithm can predict risk of a traffic accident, which may occur, by using a K-nearest neighbor algorithm which compares similarity of existing traffic information data and current traffic information data collected in real time. The present invention can predict current traffic accident risk by finding input traffic information data and past cases when current traffic information data is input so as to find a dangerous region of a traffic accident in real time, thereby preventing a traffic accident.
