The present invention relates to a passive cooling facility for a nuclear reactor of a ship. According to an aspect of the present invention, the passive cooling facility for a nuclear reactor of a ship comprises: a nuclear reactor in which heat is generated; a thermoelectric generator to which heat of a medium transferred from the nuclear reactor is transferred to remove the heat of the medium, and to generate electric power using the heat of the medium and seawater; and an ice heat storage tank for cooling the seawater supplied to the thermoelectric generator. The seawater supplied to the thermoelectric generator is supplied with seawater from the sea when the heat transferred from the nuclear reactor is above a certain temperature, and is supplied with seawater cooled from the ice heat storage tank when the heat transferred from the nuclear reactor is less than a predetermined temperature.

    본 발명은 선박의 원자로 피동냉각 설비에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 일 측면에 따르면, 열이 발생되는 원자로; 상기 원자로에서 전달되는 매체의 열이 전달되어 상기 매체의 열을 제거하고, 상기 매체의 열과 해수를 이용하여 전력을 생산하는 열전발전기; 및 상기 열전발전기에 공급되는 해수를 냉각하는 빙축열 저장탱크를 포함하고, 상기 열전발전기에 공급되는 해수는, 상기 원자로에서 전달되는 열이 일정 온도 이상인 경우 바다의 해수를 공급받고, 상기 원자로에서 전달되는 열이 일정 온도 미만인 경우 상기 빙축열 저장탱크에서 냉각된 해수를 공급받는, 원자로의 피동냉각 설비가 제공될 수 있다.
