The present invention provides a hanging sleeper monitoring system and method capable of analyzing and monitoring a section (abnormal position) in which a hanging sleeper defect occurs while moving a train using an accelerometer in real time. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a hanging sleeper monitoring system comprises: an accelerometer installed on the train's vehicle; a data acquisition device for acquiring acceleration data generated while the train is running from the accelerometer; and a monitoring program installed in a monitoring device that interworks with the data acquisition device in real time, and performs analysis of the acceleration data in real time through frequency analysis using wavelet transform to detect an abnormal position indicating a hanging sleeper defect occurrence section.

    본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 뜬침목 모니터링 시스템은 열차의 차상에 설치되는 가속도계; 상기 열차의 주행 중에 발생하는 가속도 데이터를 상기 가속도계로부터 취득하는 데이터 취득 장치; 및 상기 데이터 취득 장치와 실시간으로 연동하는 모니터링 디바이스에 설치되고, 웨이블릿 변환을 이용한 주파수 분석을 통해 상기 가속도 데이터에 대한 분석을 실시간으로 수행하여, 뜬침목 결함 발생 구간을 나타내는 이상 개소를 검출하는 모니터링 프로그램을 포함한다.
