According to the present invention, a vehicle wiper using a magneto-rheological elastomer comprises: a wiper frame installed on the windshield of a vehicle; an electromagnetic induction unit mounted on one side of the wiper frame to supply a current; an electromagnet mounted on the other side of the wiper frame, and having a coil which is provided therein and through which the current supplied by the electromagnetic induction unit flows; and a wiper blade having one surface mounted to be in contact with the electromagnet, and the other surface being in contact with the windshield of the vehicle. The wiper blade is formed of a magneto-rheological elastomer, and the stiffness and friction coefficient thereof increase or decrease according to the magnetic field generated while the current flows through the coil. The vehicle wiper using a magneto-rheological elastomer can have a relatively simple structure and can change the stiffness of the wiper blade formed of the magneto-rheological elastomer and the friction coefficient between the wiper blade and the windshield with only a magnetic field signal, thereby reducing friction vibration and squealing noise caused by a stick slip.

    본 발명에 따른 자기유변탄성체를 이용한 차량용 와이퍼는 차량 전면 유리 측에 설치되는 와이퍼 프레임; 상기 와이퍼 프레임의 일측에 장착되고, 전류를 공급하도록 구성된 전자 유도부; 상기 와이퍼 프레임의 타측에 장착되고, 상기 전자 유도부에 의해 공급되는 전류가 흐르는 코일이 내부에 구비된 전자석; 및 일면은 상기 전자석과 접하도록 장착되고, 타면은 상기 차량 전면 유리에 접하는 와이퍼 블레이드를 포함하며, 상기 와이퍼 블레이드는 자기유변탄성체로 형성되고, 상기 코일에 전류가 흐르면서 발생한 자기장에 따라 강성 및 마찰계수가 증감하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이러한 자기유변탄성체를 이용한 차량용 와이퍼는 비교적 간단하게 구성되어 자기장 신호 하나만으로 자기유변탄성체로 이루어진 와이퍼 블레이드의 강성 및 차량 전면 유리와의 마찰계수를 변화시킬 수 있고, 이를 통해 마찰 진동 및 스틱 슬립에 의한 스퀼 소음을 감소시킬 수 있다.
