According to the present invention, disclosed is a cable winder for winding a cable by receiving hydraulic power through an engine and a power take off (PTO) device of a vehicle without having to separately provide a power device required for cable work. According to the present invention, the cable winder comprises: a winding roller for winding a cable; a PTO device for operating a winding roller by generating hydraulic pressure using the power of an automobile engine; a weight measuring unit formed under the winding roller and sensing the weight of the cable wound on the winding roller; a display unit formed in at least one area of the winding roller and displaying the weight of the cable detected by the weight measuring unit; and a control unit for controlling the operation of the weight measuring unit and the display unit.
