Disclosed is a system for providing an optimal sailing speed of a ship using dynamic programming. According to one embodiment, a method for providing a sailing speed includes the following steps of: receiving a course of the ship and a sailing time of the ship; calculating fuel consumption rates of the ship in accordance with a speed change of the ship based on external force applied to the ship in the course in accordance with the sailing time; and providing the speed having the smallest fuel consumption rate among the fuel consumption rates as the sailing speed of the ship. Therefore, the system for providing an optimal sailing speed of a ship using dynamic programming can reduce unnecessary energy consumption and pollutant discharge of the ship.

    동적 계획법을 이용한 선박의 최적 항해 속력 제공 시스템이 개시된다. 일 실시예에 따른 항해 속도 제공 방법은, 선박의 항로 및 상기 선박의 항해 시간을 수신하는 단계와, 상기 선박이 상기 항로에서 상기 항해 시간에 작용 받을 외력을 기준으로 상기 선박의 속력 변화에 따른 상기 선박의 연료 소모율들을 계산하는 단계와, 상기 연료 소모율들 중에서 가장 작은 연료 소모율을 가지는 속력을 상기 선박의 항해 속력으로 제공하는 단계를 포함한다.
