The present invention relates to a submarine depth calculating apparatus and a method thereof, which calculate the minimum depth of a submarine in accordance with movement of the submarine, thereby providing precise depth information without errors to crew operating the submarine. The apparatus includes: a depth sensor installed in an arbitrary position of the submarine to measure pressure of the submarine in the installed position; a filter part removing noise from a measured pressure value; a depth calculating part calculating the depth of the submarine by using the measured pressure value from which the noise is removed through the filter part and salinity and water temperature of seawater; and a depth position correcting part correcting the calculated depth into the final depth in accordance with rolling, heading and pitching degrees of the submarine.

    본 발명은 잠수함의 운동에 따른 잠수함의 최저 심도를 산출하여 잠수함을 운용하는 승조원에게 오차없고 정밀한 심도 정보를 제공할 수 있도록 한 잠수함의 심도 산출 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로서, 상기 장치는, 잠수함의 임의의 위치에 설치되어, 설치된 위치에서의 잠수함의 압력을 측정하는 심도 센서; 상기 측정된 압력값으로부터 노이즈를 제거하는 필터부; 상기 필터부를 통해 노이즈가 제거된 측정 압력값과 해수의 염도 및 수온을 이용하여 잠수함의 심도를 산출하는 심도 산출부; 및 상기 산출된 심도를 잠수함의 롤링, 헤딩 및 피칭 정도에 따라 최종 심도를 보정하는 심도위치 보정부를 포함할 수 있다.
