Proposed are an alternator pulley control method and an alternator generation control system operated thereby. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the alternator pulley control method includes: (a) a driving mode detection step of detecting whether a driving mode of a vehicle is a fuel efficiency mode or noise vibration harshness (NVH) mode; (b) a fuel cut driving control step of, when in the fuel efficiency mode, monitoring an actual load amount during fuel cut driving, thereby increasing a regenerative generation amount by changing an alternator pulley ratio in case of a shortage of regenerative generation while increasing a driving distance with a reduction in rpm by changing the pulley ratio in case of an excessive generation of energy by the alternator; and (c) an NVH mode control step of, when in the NVH mode, controlling the pulley ratio to maintain an alternator generation duty at 90%. According to the present invention, the alternator pulley control method includes a composition for maximizing an alternator regenerative generation amount by increasing an energy regeneration amount or increasing a fuel efficiency by increasing a driving distance.

    알터네이터 풀리 제어방법 및 이에 의해 운용되는 알터네이터 발전 제어시스템이 제시된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 알터네이터 풀리 제어방법은, a) 자동차의 운행모드가 연비모드인지 NVH모드(Noise Vibration Harshness)인지 검출하는 운행모드 검출단계; b) 연비모드일 경우, 퓨얼 컷(Fuel cut) 주행 중에는 실제 부하량을 모니터링하여 회생량 부족 시 알터네이터 풀리비를 변경하여 회생 발전량을 늘리고, 알터네이터가 과잉 발전 시에는 풀리비를 변경하여 회전수를 줄여 주행거리를 늘리는 퓨얼 컷 주행 제어단계; 및 c) NVH 모드일 경우, 알터네이터 발전 듀티(duty)가 90%를 유지하도록 풀리비를 제어하는 NVH 모드 제어단계;를 포함하는 것을 구성의 요지로 한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 에너지 회생량을 증대시켜 알터네이터 회생 발전량을 극대화하거나, 주행거리를 늘려 연비를 향상시킬 수 있는 구성을 포함하는 알터네이터 풀리 제어방법을 제공할 수 있다.
