The present invention relates to a reverse braking system of an escalator which is miniaturized to be installed in a truss of an upper machinery room of the escalator and immediately blocks reverse with little power by a direct gearshift to a sprocket of the escalator by being operated when sensing reverse of the escalator without affecting the operation of the escalator as a complete separation condition with the escalator.

    본 발명은 에스컬레이터의 상부 기계실의 트러스 내부에 설치 가능하도록 소형화 하며, 상시에는 에스컬레이터와 완전 분리 상태로 에스컬레이터의 작동에 아무런 영향을 주지 않고 에스컬레이터의 역주행 감지 시 작동되어 에스컬레이터의 스프로켓에 직접 변속기어비에 의하여 작은힘으로 즉시 역주행을 차단하는 에스컬레이터의 역주행 제동장치에 관한 것이다.
