Provided is an emergency braking apparatus. The emergency braking apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a driving wheel including a plurality of spokes connecting a hub to a rim and forming a first accommodating space and second accommodating space sequentially located from the hub, a weight accommodated in the first accommodating space after being connected to a first elastic member and moved in the first accommodating space by centrifugal force corresponding to the rotational speed and elastic force of the first elastic member, and a hitting pin accommodated in the second accommodating space after being connected to a second elastic member and triggered by being pressurized by the weight and receiving the elastic force of the second elastic member before being exposed to the outside of the second accommodating space; and a braking wheel located at one side surface of the driving wheel while having the identical rotary shaft as the driving wheel, and, when the hitting pin exposed to the outside is inserted into a coupling groove formed at the rim, rotated after being coupled to the driving wheel by the inserted hitting pin. Therefore, when the braking wheel is coupled to the driving wheel before being rotated, a wire connected to a third elastic member affixed at a predetermined distance from the braking wheel is wound around the outer circumferential surface of the braking wheel, thereby decelerating the rotational speed of the driving wheel by the elastic force of the third elastic member.

    비상 제동 장치가 제공된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 비상 제동 장치는 허브와 림을 연결하고 상기 허브로부터 순차적으로 위치하는 제1 수용공간과 제2 수용공간이 형성되는 복수의 스포크, 상기 제1 수용공간에 제1 탄성부재와 연결되어 수용되며 회전속도에 상응하는 원심력과 상기 제1 탄성부재의 탄성력에 의해 상기 제1 수용공간 내에서 이동하는 무게추, 상기 제2 수용공간에 제2 탄성부재와 연결되어 수용되며 상기 무게추의 가압과 상기 제2 탄성부재의 탄성력에 의해 트리거(trigger)되어 상기 제2 수용공간의 외부로 노출되는 히팅핀(hitting pin)을 포함하는 구동휠; 및 상기 구동휠의 일 측면에 위치하되 상기 구동휠과 동일한 회전축을 가지며, 림에 형성되는 결합홈에 상기 외부로 노출되는 히팅핀이 삽입되면, 상기 삽입된 히팅핀에 의해 상기 구동휠과 결합되어 함께 회전하는 제동휠;을 포함하되, 상기 제동휠이 상기 구동휠과 결합되어 회전하면, 상기 제동휠로부터 일정 거리에 고정된 제3 탄성부재와 연결되는 와이어가 상기 제동휠의 외주면에 감기게 되어 상기 제3 탄성부재의 탄성력에 의해 상기 구동휠의 회전속도를 감속시키는 것을 특징으로 한다.
