According to embodiments, based on a side lane vehicle detection result and a side lane vehicle length detection result using a plurality of detection sensors for detecting front objects on a front side surface, a central side surface, and a rear side surface of a subject vehicle, it is determined that the subject vehicle is in a blind spot of a side land vehicle, and based on a determined result, the vehicle is controlled to be safely driven by avoiding the blind spot of the side land vehicle.

    본 실시예들은 자차량의 전측면, 중앙 측면 및 후측면 전방의 물체를 감지하는 복수의 감지 센서들을을 이용한 옆차선 차량 감지 결과 및 옆차선 차량의 길이 검출 결과에 기초하여 자차량이 옆차선 차량의 사각지대 안에 있는지를 판단하고 판단 결과를 토대로 자차량이 옆차선 차량의 사각지대를 회피하여 주행하도록 차량을 제어할 수 있으므로 안전운전에 도움을 줄 수 있다.
