A method for predicting a vehicle path based on a modular circulating neural network structure is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for predicting a path performed by a system for predicting a path including an encoder and a decoder comprises the steps of: analyzing, in the encoder, sequence information based on driving data of a vehicle of a user or the vehicle of the user and a neighboring vehicle present around the vehicle of the user; and predicting, in the decoder, a future path of the neighboring vehicle by applying an analysis result of analyzing the sequence information to a beam search. Deep learning can be performed based on a combined circulating neural network composed of at least one circulating neural network structure.

    모듈형 순환 신경망 구조 기반 차량 경로 예측 기법이 개시된다. 일 실시예에 따른 인코더 및 디코더를 포함하는 경로 예측 시스템에 의해 수행되는 경로 예측 방법은, 상기 인코더에서, 자차 또는 자차와 주변에 존재하는 주변 차량의 주행 데이터에 기반하여 시퀀스 정보를 분석하는 단계; 및 상기 디코더에서, 상기 시퀀스 정보를 분석한 분석 결과를 빔 서치(beam search)를 적용하여 주변 차량의 미래 경로를 예측하는 단계를 포함하고, 적어도 하나 이상의 순환 신경망 구조로 구성된 결합형 순환 신경망에 기반하여 각각 딥 러닝 학습이 수행될 수 있다.
