The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for measuring a single rear camera-based obstacle distance, and comprises: a single rear view camera for photographing a rear image of an automobile; an obstacle selection unit for selecting an obstacle to be measured in the rear image; an automobile information receiving unit for receiving at least one automobile information from an electronic control unit of the automobile; and a control unit for calculating the obstacle distance to the selected obstacle based on the automobile information and each rear image before and after movement of the automobile.

    본 발명은 단일 후방 카메라 기반 장애물 거리 측정 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 차량의 후방 영상을 촬영하는 단일 후방 카메라; 상기 후방 영상에서 거리 측정 대상인 장애물을 선택하는 장애물 선택부; 적어도 하나 이상의 차량 정보를 상기 차량의 전자제어장치로부터 수신하는 차량 정보 수신부; 및 상기 차량 정보와 상기 차량의 이동 전후의 각 후방 영상에 기초하여 상기 선택한 장애물에 대한 장애물 거리를 산출하는 제어부;를 포함한다.
