The present invention provides an engine cooling system including a coolant temperature sensor, capable of rapidly changing a valve opening rate of a coolant control valve unit in a case that a desired coolant temperature is changed to be equal to or greater than a setting value. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the engine cooling system including the coolant temperature sensor includes: an internal combustion engine; a radiator installed on one side of the engine and emitting heat of a coolant circulating in the engine to the outside; the coolant control valve unit controlling the coolant circulating in the radiator by the valve opening rate of a valve having a coolant path corresponding to the radiator; a second coolant temperature sensor sensing a second coolant temperature on a coolant outlet of the engine; a third coolant temperature sensor sensing a third coolant temperature on the coolant outlet of the radiator; and a control unit sensing the second and third coolant temperatures by the second and third coolant temperature sensors and calculating a first coolant temperature on a coolant inlet of the engine, wherein the control unit calculates the valve opening rate of the coolant control valve unit by using the first, second, and third coolant temperatures.

    본 발명의 실시예에 따른 냉각수온 센서를 구비한 엔진 냉각시스템에 의하면, 내연기관 엔진, 상기 엔진의 일측에 배치되고, 상기 엔진을 순환하는 냉각수의 열을 외부로 방출하도록 배치되는 라디에이터, 상기 라디에이터와 대응하는 냉각수통로를 갖는 밸브의 개도율을 통해서 상기 라디에이터를 순환하는 냉각수를 제어하는 냉각수제어 밸브유닛, 상기 엔진의 냉각수 출구측 냉각수온을 감지하는 제2 냉각수온 센서, 상기 라디에이터의 냉각수 출구측 냉각수온을 감지하는 제3 냉각수온 센서, 상기 제2,3냉각수온센서을 통해서 제2,3냉각수온을 감지하고, 이를 연산하여 상기 엔진의 냉각수 입구측 제1 냉각수온을 연산하며, 상기 제1,2,3냉각수온을 이용하여 상기 냉각수제어 밸브유닛의 밸브 개도율을 연산하는 제어부를 포함할 수 있다.
