본 발명은 별도의 충방전 회로를 구비하지 않고도 배터리의 용량 퇴화도를 추정할 수 있는 장치를 개시한다. 본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 배터리 용량 퇴화 추정 장치는, 배터리 어셈블리에 구비된 배터리 셀을 밸런싱하는 밸런싱부; 상기 밸런싱부가 상기 배터리 셀에 대해 밸런싱을 수행하는 밸런싱 시간을 측정하는 시간측정부; 및 상기 밸런싱부의 충방전 효율과 상기 시간측정부가 측정한 밸런싱 시간을 곱하여 산출되는 상기 배터리 셀의 전기용량의 변화량을 이용하여 상기 배터리 셀의 용량 퇴화도를 추정하는 퇴화도추정부;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

    Disclosed is a device for estimating a degradation degree of battery capacity without a separate charging/discharging circuit. The device for estimating a degradation degree of battery capacity comprises: a balancing unit which balances a battery cell included in battery assembly; a time estimating unit which enables the balancing unit to measure a balancing time for performing the balance of the battery cell; and a degradation degree estimating unit which estimates a capacity degradation degree of the battery cell by using a change amount of the electric capacity of the battery cell calculated by multiplying charging/discharging efficiency of the balancing unit and the balancing time measured by the time estimating unit.
