The present invention relates to an apparatus to detect a crack in a railroad rail, automatically detecting a crack through a wheel while reciprocally moving on a rail (R), so as to transmit a detection result to the outside through a communication device. According to the present invention, the apparatus comprises: a body including a motor control unit to operate a motor, a signal application unit to apply an electric signal to a first electrode formed in a front wheel, a signal reception unit to receive the electric signal from a second electrode formed in a rear wheel, an analysis unit to analyze the electric signal received by the signal reception unit, a wireless communication unit to transmit an analysis result of the analysis unit to the outside through a wireless antenna, and a power supply unit to supply power to the motor control unit, the signal application unit, the signal reception unit, the analysis unit, and the wireless communication unit; a pair of front wheels and a pair of rear wheels installed on front and rear sides of the body, respectively, to acquire rotary power by the motor, and having the first and second electrode, respectively; a front wheel sprocket fixated and inserted in a rotary shaft of the front wheel, disposed between a left or right side of the front wheel, and the body, and having a diameter smaller than that of the front wheel; a rear wheel sprocket fixated and inserted in a rotary shaft of the rear wheel, disposed between a left or right side of the rear wheel, and the body, and having a diameter smaller than that of the front wheel; and a chain to connect the front and rear wheel sprockets. The front and rear wheels have the identical diameter, and the second electrode formed in the rear wheel is also disposed in the bottom of the rear wheel when the first electrode formed in the front wheel is disposed in the bottom of the front wheel, and the circumference of the front or rear wheel is identical to the length (L) between the rotary shafts of the front and rear wheels.

    본 발명은 레일(R) 상을 직선운동하면서 바퀴를 통해 자동으로 균열을 감지하여 외부로 통신 장치를 통해 알려주는 철도 레일 균열 감지 장치에 관한 것이다 본 발명은 모터를 구동하는 모터제어부와, 전륜에 형성된 제1 전극에 전기신호를 인가하는 신호인가부와, 후륜에 형성된 제2 전극으로부터 상기 전기신호를 수신하는 신호수신부와, 상기 신호수신부가 수신한 전기신호를 분석하는 분석부와, 상기 분석부의 분석 결과를 무선안테나를 통해 외부로 송신하는 무선통신부, 및 상기 모터제어부, 신호인가부, 신호수신부, 분석부 및 무선통신부에 전원을 공급하는 전원공급부를 포함하는 몸체와; 상기 몸체의 전방 및 후방에 각각 구비되어 상기 모터에 의해 회전력을 얻으며, 상기 제1 전극 및 제2 전극이 각기 형성된 한 쌍의 전륜 및 한 쌍의 후륜과; 상기 전륜의 회전축에 고정되어 끼워지고 상기 전륜의 좌측 또는 우측과 몸체의 사이에 위치하며, 상기 전륜의 직경보다 작은 직경을 가진 전륜스프라켓과; 상기 후륜의 회전축에 고정되어 끼워지고 후륜의 좌측 또는 우측과 몸체의 사이에 위치하며, 상기 후륜의 직경보다 작은 직경을 가진 후륜스프라켓; 및 상기 전륜스프라켓 및 후륜스프라켓을 잇는 체인을 포함하며; 상기 전륜 및 후륜의 직경은 동일하고, 상기 전륜에 형성된 제1 전극이 상기 전류의 최하단에 위치할 시에 상기 후륜에 형성된 제2 전극도 상기 후륜의 최하단에 위치하며, 상기 전륜 또는 후륜의 원주는 상기 전륜의 회전축과 후륜의 회전축 간의 길이(L)와 동일한 것을 특징으로 한다.
