자율 모드에서 동작하도록 구성되는 차량은 차량의 환경의 하나 이상의 양상들을 관측하는 하나 이상의 센서들로부터 센서 데이터를 획득할 수 있다. 하나 이상의 센서들에 의해 관측되지 않은 차량의 환경의 적어도 하나의 양상은 센서 데이터에 기초하여 추론될 수 있다. 차량은 차량의 환경의 적어도 하나의 추론된 양상에 기초하여 자율 모드에서 제어될 수 있다.

    A vehicle configured to operate in an autonomous mode obtains sensor data from one or more sensors observing one or more aspects of an environment of the vehicle. The state of a traffic light blocked by a truck cannot be observed by the one or more sensors and is inferred based on the sensor data. The vehicle is then controlled in the autonomous mode based on the at least one inferred aspect.
