The present invention relates to a system and method for preventing a collision between vessels or a vessel and an obstacle. According to the present invention, a conventional vessel traffic service (VTS) has difficulty in rapidly increasing complexities of task performance as the number of vessels to be controlled increases because possibilities of collision between multiple vessels or multiple vessels and multiple fixed obstacles should be independently identified and a precaution should be taken. To this end, the present invention provides a control system for avoiding a collision between multiple vessels using a time series graphic display wherein the control system calculates variations of the relative distance depending on time with respect to each vessel and obstacle on the basis of the current position and movement velocity of the vessel and the obstacle such as a bridge to display the same with the time series graphic. At this time, the control system of the present invention normalizes lower values with respect to an allowance distance and time for each vessel to display the distance variation in accordance with time elapses between each vessel in the time series graphic so positions of the vessels at sea and obstacles, crossing time, and whether or not the vessels to be burdened can be easily recognized at once, thereby helping prompt a precise circumstance determination, and at the same time, allowing complexity of task performance on collision determination not to increase even if the number of vessels to be controlled increases.

    본 발명은 선박간의 충돌이나 선박과 장애물과의 충돌을 방지하기 위한 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따르면, 다중 선박간의 충돌 가능성 또는 다중 선박과 다중 고정장애물간의 충돌 가능성 여부를 일일이 식별하고 예방조치를 취해야 함으로 인해 관제대상이 되는 선박의 수가 증가할수록 업무수행의 복잡도가 급격히 상승하는 어려움이 있었던 종래기술의 해상교통 관제시스템(Vessel Traffic Service ; VTS)들의 문제점을 해결하기 위해, 선박 또는 교량과 같은 장애물의 현재 위치와 이동속도에 근거하여 각각의 선박 및 장애물에 대한 시간에 따른 상대거리의 변화를 계산하여 시계열 그래프로 나타내고, 이때, 각 선박별 여유거리에 대한 하한값과 여유시간에 대한 하한값을 정규화하여 각각의 선박간 시간의 흐름에 따른 거리변화를 시계열 그래프로 나타냄으로써, 항해중인 선박 및 장애물의 위치와 교행시간 및 피항 여부를 한눈에 용이하게 파악하여 신속하고 정확한 상황판단에 도움을 줄 수 있는 동시에, 관제대상이 되는 선박의 수가 증가하더라도 충돌판단 업무의 복잡도는 증가하지 않도록 구성되는 시계열 그래픽 표시를 이용한 다중 선박간 충돌회피 관제시스템이 제공된다.
