Composition (I) comprises at least one constituent of a modified resin acid and/or a fatty acid, where the degree of neutralization of the constituent is 104-165%. Independent claims are included for: (1) producing (I), comprising mixing the modified resin acid and the fatty acid; (2) producing a microgel, where (I) is used as emulsifier composition; and (3) the microgel obtained by the process.
