Disclosed are a method for reducing a dark current which can be generated in a vehicle at LF communications, and a computer readable recording medium for the same. To achieve this, the state of a smart key (SMK) controller is maintained in a slip mode before an audio, video, navigation (AVN) device and a local area network terminal of a driver are paired by previously registering the local area network terminal of the driver in the AVN device, thereby providing a mechanism for remarkably reducing a dark current in a vehicle. Therefore, the present invention solves a battery discharge problem and extends the service life of the vehicle by reducing the dark current even if the power source in the vehicle is turned off.

    LF 통신시 차량내에서 발생될 수 있는 암전류를 저감하기 위한 방법 및 이를 컴퓨터 판독 가능한 기록매체가 개시된다. 이를 위해, 본 실시예는 AVN 기기 내 운전자의 근거리 통신 기기를 사전 등록하여 AVN 기기와 운전자의 근거리 통신 기기가 페어링 되기 전까지는 SMK 제어기의 상태를 슬립모드로 유지하도록 하여 차량내의 암전류를 현격하게 줄이는 메카니즘을 제공한다. 이에, 본 실시예는 차량 전원이 오프된 상태에 불구하고 발생된 암전류를 저감함으로써, 배터리 방전을 개선하고, 궁극적으로 차량의 수명을 증대시킬 수 있다.
