복수의 컨버터에는, 당해 각 컨버터로부터 공급되는 직류 전력을 이용하여 전기차를 추진 제어하는 추진 제어 장치가 부하로서 각각 접속된다. 신호파와 반송파 사이에 소망한 위상각을 부여하는 위상각 결정부(15)에는, 각 추진 제어 장치의 부하 상태가 동등하다고 볼 수 있는 것을 동일한 그룹으로 그루핑했을 때의 당해 동일 그룹 내의 위상각의 설정값을 각 그룹마다 기재한 반송파 위상 테이블(22)이 마련된다. 위상각 결정부(15)는 각 추진 제어 장치의 부하 상태를 나타내는 부하 상태 신호(25) 및 자차 ID 신호(21)에 기초하여 반송파 위상 테이블(22)을 참조해, 각 컨버터에 부여할 위상각을 결정하여 PWM 제어부에 출력한다. PWM 제어부는 위상각 결정부(15)가 결정한 위상각에 기초하여 반송파의 위상각을 변경한다.

    A propulsion control device executing propulsion control of an electric vehicle by using DC power supplied from each converter is connected to each converter as a load. A carrier phase table 22, in which, when load states of propulsion control devices capable of being determined to be equivalent to each other are grouped in a same group, setting values of phase angles in the same group are given for each group, is provided in a phase-angle determination unit 15 providing a desired phase angle between signal wave and carrier wave. The phase-angle determination unit 15 refers to the carrier phase table 22 based on a load state signal 25 indicating a load state of each propulsion control device and an own-vehicle ID signal 21, determines a phase angle provided to each converter, and outputs it to a PWM control unit. The PWM control unit changes a phase angle of the carrier wave based on the phase angle determined by the phase-angle determination unit 15.
