Disclosed are a braking system using a brake device having an electro-mechanical packing function and a control method thereof. The disclosed control method of a braking system using a brake device having an electro-mechanical packing function comprises the steps of: (a) executing parking braking by a complex caliper unit arranged in any between a front wheel and a rear wheel to actuate at least one among hydraulic lines and electrically driven elements and to perform a braking function whereas pressing and bringing a brake pad in contact with a brake disc by an internal piston arranged in the complex caliper unit by allowing the electrically driven elements to actuate an external piston arranged in the complex caliper unit to press the brake pad by the hydraulic lines, and limiting operation of the electrically driven elements to perform the parking braking operation; (b) releasing the parking braking by the electrically driven elements whereas reducing pressure of the internal piston by the electrically driven elements to reduce pressing pressure of the internal piston on the external piston of the complex caliper unit; (c) providing hydraulic pressure to the complex caliper unit and a hydraulic caliper unit arranged in the other between the front wheel and the rear wheel to perform a braking function by the hydraulic lines such that a predetermined braking force is generated in the front wheel and the rear wheel. The present invention can enhance responsibility for pedal actuation compared with the conventional art while being converted from the parking braking to a main braking state, assure longer durability of a valve applied to the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic lines, and confirm braking stability and reliability.

    전자기계식 파킹기능을 갖는 브레이크장치를 이용한 제동시스템 및 그 제어방법이 개시된다. 개시된 전자기계식 파킹기능을 갖는 브레이크장치를 이용한 제동시스템의 제어방법은 (a)유압라인과 전동요소 중, 적어도 어느 하나를 가동시켜 제동기능을 수행하도록 전륜과 후륜 중, 어느 하나에 마련되는 복합 캘리퍼 유닛에 의해 주차 제동을 실행하되, 유압라인에 의해 가동되어 브레이크 패드를 가압하도록 복합 캘리퍼 유닛에 배치되는 외부 피스톤을 전동요소에 의해 작동되도록 복합 캘리퍼 유닛에 배치되는 내부 피스톤에 의해 가압하여 브레이크 패드를 브레이크 디스크에 가압 접촉시키며, 전동요소의 작동을 제한하여 주차 제동을 실행하는 단계와, (b)전동요소에 의한 주차 제동을 해제하되, 복합 캘리퍼 유닛의 외부 피스톤에 대한 내부 피스톤의 가압력이 감소되도록 전동요소에 의한 내부 피스톤의 감압을 실행하는 단계와, (c)유압라인에 의한 제동기능이 수행되도록 복합 캘리퍼 유닛과, 전륜과 후륜 중, 다른 하나에 마련되는 유압 캘리퍼 유닛에 유압을 제공하여 전륜과 후륜에 소정의 제동력을 발생시키는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
