According to an embodiment of the present invention, an engine cooling system having a thermostat comprises: a heat having a block having a cylinder, a combustion chamber, an intake port, and an exhaust port, and disposed on the block, wherein the intake port and the exhaust port are connected to the combustion chamber; a coolant valve receiving a coolant discharged from each side of the head and the block after passing through the head and the block and distributing the coolant to cooling elements; an oil cooler disposed to control the temperature of oil circulating the head or the block; and a thermostat receiving the coolant discharged from the other side of the block and selectively conveying the coolant to the oil cooler. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the engine cooling system having a thermostat, improving combustion efficiency.
본 발명의 실시예에 따른 써모스탯을 갖는 엔진 냉각시스템에 의하면, 실린더가 형성된 블록 및 상기 블록 위에 배치되고, 연소실을 형성하고, 상기 연소실과 연결되는 흡기포트와 배기포트가 각각 형성되는 헤드, 상기 헤드와 상기 블록을 지나서, 각 일측에서 배출되는 냉각수를 공급받고, 냉각요소들로 냉각수를 분배하는 냉각수밸브, 상기 헤드 또는 상기 블록을 순환하는 오일의 온도를 제어하도록 배치되는 오일쿨러, 상기 블록의 타측에서 배출되는 냉각수를 공급받고, 이를 상기 오일쿨러측으로 선택적으로 전달하는 써모스탯을 포함할 수 있다.
