압출 가공성을 유지 향상하면서 저구름 저항성 및 웨트 성능을 종래 레벨 이상으로 향상하도록 한 타이어 트레드용 고무 조성물을 제공한다. 히드록실기 함유 변성 스티렌 부타디엔 고무를 50중량% 이상 포함하는 디엔계 고무 100중량부에 대하여, 실리카를 60 ~ 130중량부 포함하는 고무 조성물이고, 상기 실리카를 포함하는 충전제에 대한 오일의 중량비를 0.25 이하로 하는 것과 함께, 메르캅토기 및 Si-O 결합을 가지는 실란 커플링제를 상기 실리카 양의 4 ~ 15중량%, 또한 디에틸렌글리콜을 상기 실리카 양의 1 ~ 6중량% 배합한 것을 특징으로 한다.

    Problem: To provide a rubber composition for use in tire treads that enhances low rolling resistance and wet performance to conventional levels or above while maintaining and enhancing extrudability. Solution: A rubber composition for use in tire treads comprising from 60 to 130 parts by weight of silica per 100 parts by weight of diene rubber containing not less than 50% by weight of hydroxyl group-containing modified styrene butadiene rubber, in which the weight ratio of oil to filler containing the silica is not greater than 0.25, and a silane coupling agent having a mercapto group and an Si-O bond is compounded in an amount from 4 to 15% by weight of the silica content, and diethylene glycol is compounded in an amount from 1 to 6% by weight of the silica content.
