The present invention relates to an undercover having sound absorption performance using scrap, and more specifically, to an undercover having sound absorption performance using scrap, comprising: a core layer made of low weight reinforced thermoplastics (LWRT) where resin is impregnated with glass fibers and having multiple air holes formed inside; a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) scrim layer integrally formed on the upper part of the core layer; and a film layer integrally formed on the lower part of the core layer. The undercover, having sound absorption performance using scrap, is reinforced by partially attaching scrap, which remains after the undercover is formed, to the upper cover. According to the present invention, the strength of the undercover covering the lower part of a chassis as well as the lower part of the engine of a vehicle is increased, and sound absorption characteristic is also improved, thereby satisfying emotional quality without an increase in the weight of the undercover.

    본 발명은 스크랩을 활용한 흡음성능이 향상된 언더커버에 관한 것으로, 차량용 언더커버에 있어서; 상기 언더커버는 수지에 글래스 화이버가 함침된 LWRT 소재로 이루어져 내부에 다수의 기공을 갖는 코어층; 상기 코어층의 상부에 일체로 성형된 PET 스크림층; 상기 코어층의 하부에 일체로 성형된 필름층;을 포함하고; 상기 언더커버 성형시 남은 스크랩을 상기 언더커버 상에 국부적으로 덧대어 보강한 것을 특징으로 하는 스크랩을 활용한 흡음성능이 향상된 언더커버를 제공한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 차량의 엔진 하부는 물론 차체 하부를 커버하는 언더커버의 강도 증대는 물론 흡음 특성을 향상시켜 중량을 크게 증가시키지 않고도 감성품질을 만족시키는 효과를 얻을 수 있다.
