The present invention relates to a method for controlling a mode change of a hybrid vehicle, which controls the change of an electric vehicle (EV) mode of a hybrid vehicle into a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) mode. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for controlling a mode change of a hybrid vehicle comprises: a step of judging whether the change from an EV mode of a hybrid vehicle to an HEV mode is required when the hybrid vehicle is driven in the EV mode; a step of determining the target speed of an engine when the change from the EV mode to the HEV mode is required and driving the engine; a step of detecting the descending time of engine torque; a step of determining the reference speed and reference torque of the engine, and calculating a work (W_(ref)) on the basis of the reference speed; a step of calculating a work (W_(tgt)) on the basis of the target speed; and a step of calculating the synchronization time of the engine and calculating and applying the speed control initial value (w_(act)(t_(tgt))) of the engine therethrough.

    본 발명은 하이브리드 자동차의 EV(electric vehicle) 모드에서 HEV(hybrid electric mode) 모드로의 변환 시, 이를 제어하는 하이브리드 자동차의 모드 변환 제어 방법에 관한 것이다. 이를 위한 본 발명의 실시예는, 하이브리드 자동차의 EV(electric vehicle) 모드 운행 중 HEV(hybrid electric vehicle) 모드로의 변환이 요구되는지 판단하는 단계; 상기 EV 모드에서 HEV 모드로의 변환이 요구되면, 엔진의 목표속도를 결정하고 상기 엔진을 구동하는 단계; 상기 엔진의 완폭이후 엔진 토크의 하강 시점을 검출하는 단계; 상기 엔진의 기준속도 및 기준토크를 결정하여 상기 기준속도에 의한 일()을 산출하고, 상기 목표속도에 의한 일()을 산출하는 단계; 상기 기준속도에 의한 일()와 목표속도에 의한 일()을 토대로 상기 엔진이 상기 목표속도에 도달하는 시점()인 동기화 시점을 산출하고 이를 통해 상기 엔진의 속도제어 초기값()을 산출하여 적용하는 단계;를 포함할 수 있다.
