The present invention relates to a heavy duty pneumatic tire with a stone holding block layer in a groove, which ensures stable rubber thickness between an outermost belt layer and a bottom portion of a groove through the insertion of a stone holding block layer, so as to prevent a stone holding phenomenon without tread abrasion and loss of belt durability and prevent separation caused by stone holding, thereby improving the durability of tires. The heavy duty tire comprises a main groove having a zigzag shape in a lib-lug pattern, wherein a bottom groove is formed in a bottom portion of the main groove.

    본 발명은 돌끼임 방지층(Stone Holding Block Layer) 삽입을 통해 그루브의 바닥부와 최외곽 벨트층 사이에 안정적인 고무 두께를 확보하여 트레드 마모 및 벨트 내구성능에 대한 손실없이 돌끼임(Stone Holding) 현상을 방지하고, 돌끼임에 의한 세파레이션(SEPARATION)을 방지하여 타이어의 내구 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 중하중용 공기입 타이어에 관한 것으로, (리브-러그(Lib-Lug)의 패턴으로 지그재그의 메인그루부에, 상기 메인그루브의 바닥부에 바닥홈이 형성된 것을 특징으로 한다.
