Disclosed is a real-time traffic signal control system comprising: a vehicle information communication unit including an antenna having directivity installed by lane and transmitting/receiving information from a vehicle; and a control unit for controlling operations of a traffic light at an intersection by using the information of the vehicle information communication unit. According to the traffic signal control system, the traffic light at an intersection can be controlled in real-time by using vehicle driving information by lane and calculating weighted values reflecting various road conditions.

    차로별로 설치된 방향성을 가진 안테나를 구비하고, 차량으로부터 정보를 송수신하는 차량 정보 통신부; 및 상기 차량 정보 통신부로 수신된 정보를 이용하여, 교차로에 위치한 신호등의 동작을 제어하는 제어부;를 포함하는 교통 신호 제어 시스템이 개시된다. 교통 신호 제어 시스템에 따르면, 차로별 차량 주행 정보를 이용하되, 다양한 도로 상황을 반영한 가중치를 산출하여 교차로에 위치한 신호등을 실시간으로 제어할 수 있다.
