An apparatus for generating a virtual engine sound is provided. The apparatus for generating a virtual engine sound comprises: a rotating bracket member which is installed within a wheel of a vehicle and includes movement space therein; an elastic body wherein one end is fixated to a rotation center position of the rotating bracket member; and a weight body fixated to the other end of the elastic body, and configured to move within the movement space based on a rotation speed of the wheel of the vehicle to be selectively in contact with the rotating bracket member.

    가상 엔진음 발생장치가 개시된다. 가상 엔진음 발생장치는, 차량 휠에 설치되며 내부에 이동 공간이 형성된 회전 브라켓부재와, 회전 브라켓부재의 회전 중심 위치에 일단이 고정되는 탄성체와, 탄성체에 타단에 고정되어 차량 휠의 회전 속도에 따라 이동 공간의 내부에서 이동되어 회전 브라켓부재에 선택적으로 접촉되는 중량체를 포함한다.
