The present invention relates to an intrusion detection system for a vehicle and, more specifically, relates to a system and a method for detecting intrusion using intrusion detection of a dual mode, which has a standby mode performing intrusion detection motion during a relatively long period on an ordinary day and an intrusion confirmation determination mode performing intrusion detection motion during a continuously short period when doubting intrusion in the standby mode. Thus, when starting intrusion detection, power is differently consumed in accordance with a mode to minimize a dead battery due to intrusion detection.

    본 발명은 자동차용 침입 검출 시스템에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 평상 시 비교적 긴 주기로 침입 검출 동작을 수행하는 대기모드와 대기모드에서 침입 의심 시 지속적으로(짧은 주기로) 침입 검출 동작을 수행하는 침입 확정 판단 모드를 구비하여 침입 감지 개시 시 모드에 따라 차등적으로 전력을 소비하도록 하여 침입 검출에 따른 배터리 방전을 최소화할 수 있는 이중 모드 침입 검출을 이용한 침입 감지 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
