The present invention relates to an apparatus for calculating a travelable distance and a method for calculating a fuel amount for a travelable distance thereof. The present invention confirms whether or not a remaining fuel amount of a fuel gauge satisfies an overcharged mode access condition and accesses an overcharged mode to confirm whether or not a vehicle is refueled when the remaining fuel amount satisfies the overcharged mode access condition to calculate the fuel amount for a travelable distance in accordance with whether or not the vehicle is refueled using a predetermined expression.

    본 발명은 주행가능거리 연산장치 및 그의 주행가능거리 연료량 방법에 관한 것으로, 연료게이지의 연료잔량이 과충모드 진입조건을 만족하는지를 확인하고, 상기 연료잔량이 상기 과충모드 진입조건을 만족하면 상기 과충모드로 진입하여 차량이 급유중인지를 확인하여 상기 차량이 급유중인지 여부에 따라 정해진 연산식을 이용하여 주행가능거리 연료량을 연산한다.
