The purpose of the present invention is to provide a shock-absorption assisting member for a head lining of a vehicle capable of being designed to satisfy optimal conditions without a decrease in the shock absorbing performance of a corrugated member while preventing the mutual interference between reinforcing members (panels) and the head lining even though the intervals between ridges and the head lining are changed due to the installation of the reinforcing members inside a roof panel as a ridge region with a different width can be formed even though the heights of the ridges are the same by forming the corrugated member into a form wherein the ridges, long in a width direction of the vehicle, are continuously formed between the head lining and roof panel, dividing each ridge into multiple regions according to the interval between the head lining and roof panel, and selectively determining the height of the shock-absorption assisting member among width set in accordance with head injury criteria (HIC (d)) based on the heights of each region. The other purpose of the present invention is to provide the shock-absorption assisting member for the head lining of the vehicle with the optimal shock absorbing performance capable of being easily designed by a designer as the designer is capable of selecting the width among the preset multiple widths satisfying the HIC according to the height of the ridge by measuring an injury level in accordance with the HIC while changing the height and width of the ridges of the corrugated member by a preset height unit and a width unit to make the height and width of the ridges of the corrugated member satisfy the HIC required for the assisting member.
