The present invention relates to an automatic drowsiness prevention apparatus and an operation method thereof. The automatic drowsiness prevention apparatus is provided in a form of glasses, sun glasses, and accessories such as headsets and headbands, and detects drowsiness by sensing differences in a pulse of a user and an angle of head. According to the present invention, the apparatus prevents drowsiness automatically by generating electric stimulation or vibration after detecting at least one between the pulse and the angle of head and detecting drowsiness automatically, decreases the possibility of property damage, injury, and casualty occurring in the workplace or when driving, and increases concentration and learning ability for students.
