To provide a hub unit bearing having female screw holes at a plurality of locations in a circumferential direction of a rotary flange and facilitating securing the suppression effect of a brake judder.SOLUTION: A hub unit bearing 1 has an outer ring 2 as an outside member, a hub 3 which is an inside member and is a rotary member, and a plurality of rolling elements 4 rollably arranged between outer ring tracks 5a, 5b and inner ring tracks 8a, 8b. The hub 3 has a rotary flange 9 projecting to the radially outer side. The rotary flange 9 includes an annular groove 11 of an annular ring shape centered at a central axis C of the hub 3 and provided on an axially outer surface, and female screw holes 13 provided at respective ones of a plurality locations in the circumferential direction, penetrating in the axial direction, and having radially outer ends thereof being open only on a bottom surface of the annular groove 11. In a portion of the rotary flange 9 that overlaps the annular groove 11 in the axial direction, axial flexural rigidity of a radially outer part with respect to the female screw holes 13 is higher than axial flexural rigidity of a radially inner part with respect to the female screw holes 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
