To provide a control parameter calculation device for calculating a control parameter of a power converter capable of reducing a power consumption amount in a DC charging section having a high-voltage feeding electric wire.SOLUTION: A control parameter calculation device 1 includes a model information storage unit 13, a travel history information storage unit 11, and a control parameter setting value calculation unit 22. The model information storage unit 13 stores model information including information for controlling a regenerative power narrowing amount of a railway vehicle traveling in a DC electrified section, position information of a transformer substation and power converters 71 to 7n, and information indicating characteristics of the power converters 71 to 7n. The travel history information storage unit 11 stores travel history information indicating a state of power and a position of the railway vehicle which has traveled in the DC electrified section in the past. Based on the model information and the travel history information, the control parameter setting value calculation unit 22 calculates a control parameter such that a power consumption amount in the DC electrified section satisfies a predetermined condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
