PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor which can efficiently suppress the temperature rise of a magnet.SOLUTION: An outer rotor type in-wheel motor 1 disposed inside a wheel 2 includes a circular rotor core 23 serving as a rotator, a magnet 25 fixed to the inner peripheral surface side of the rotor core 23, and a case 10 covering the outer periphery of the rotor core 23. In the case 10, radially extending fins 11 are erected on the external surface of a bottom thereof. When the in-wheel motor 1 is disposed inside the wheel 2, the bottom of the case 2 faces a front part 12 of the wheel 2, and a passage 50 connecting a front side space 51 and a rear side space 52 of the in-wheel motor 1 to each other is formed between the inner peripheral surface of the wheel 2 and the outer peripheral surface of the case 10.
